Wednesdays, 12-3 PM, Sept 24-Dec 3 (No meeting 11/26)
Ages 9-13 (12 students maximum)
Limited drop off option available (up to 4 students)
Location: We will meet at the Sherwood Dr entrance to Village Park in Hilton.
We’ll begin our explorations in the park each week, exploring the trails, creek and meadows. We’ll break for a campfire, snack and free play. Then end with an activity to work on an outdoor skill. Skill areas will include: fire skills, woodcraft, rope skills, shelter and nature. Campfires will be hosted at a nearby private property and bathrooms will be available there as well.
Please note, we will be working with campfires and a variety of tools, such as: knives, saws, and branch loppers/pruners.
Adults staying on site will be required to complete a background check. Cost will be covered by Navigators Chapter 357.
